About the event
FECAVA EuroCongress is the congress of FECAVA, the umbrella body of Europe's companion animal vet associations. In 2027 it takes place from 2 to 4 September in Antwerp at the Flanders Meeting and Convention Centre, also known as Room with a Zoo. According to its own figures, FECAVA represents more than 25,000 companion animal vets from 39 European countries.
The congress brings together vets, veterinary nurses, students and companies working in companion animal care. The programme has several parallel streams, expert lectures, workshops and poster presentations, plus time to meet colleagues from different countries. The aim is to share the latest knowledge and good practice in small animal medicine.
Besides clinical content, the congress covers topics that matter to the whole profession, including sustainability, animal welfare, work-life balance, clinic development, the rollout of EU rules and professional certificates. FECAVA also supports new professionals with its own initiatives.
Registration opens on 16 November 2026, and early participants get a lower rate. Rates and the programme are on the organiser's website. The same centre hosted the congress in 2025, when it drew hundreds of participants from across Europe. The 2026 congress was held in Warsaw together with WSAVA.

How to get there
The centre's address is Koningin Astridplein 20, 2018 Antwerp, right next to Antwerp's central station. A direct train runs from Brussels Airport to Antwerp.
