About the event
Hund & Pferd brings dog and horse people to Dortmund from 6 to 8 November 2026. According to the organiser, the event combines Germany's largest dog show with a horse fair.
On the dog side, the focus is on the pedigree competitions, where dogs from more than 240 breeds compete for the podium. The Bundessieger-Ausstellung and the Agria Trophy Show take place at the Westfalenhalle on the same weekend. The programme also has breed presentations, training demonstrations, health checks and things to do for visitors.
On the horse side, more than 240 horses perform, and a continuous show programme fills the main arena on all three days from 10:00 to 18:00. There are also over 280 sales stands with supplies for dogs and horses.
No tickets are sold on site, so they must be bought in advance from the organiser's online shop. If your dog is coming along, check the EU rules for travelling with pets in good time.

How to get there
The address is Messe Dortmund, Westfalenhallen, Rheinlanddamm 200, 44139 Dortmund. According to the organiser, the German winner show is held in the Westfalenhalle.
Dortmund has its own airport, and Düsseldorf airport is also close.
